If you’re considering a move to Brentwood, Tennessee, schools are probably high on your

priority list—and for good reason. Brentwood is part of the highly acclaimed Williamson

County School District, one of the top-performing districts in the state.

📍 School Zones Overview

Brentwood is served by two major high school zones:

• Brentwood High School

Feeder schools: Scales Elementary → Brentwood Middle → Brentwood High

Zone: Between Old Hickory Blvd and Moores Lane, east and west of I-65

• Ravenwood High School

Feeder schools: Crockett Elementary → Woodland Middle → Ravenwood High

Zone: East of I-65, between Concord Rd and Split Log Rd

Both zones feature award-winning academics, sports, and extracurriculars—and even a

heated football rivalry known as the Battle of the Woods.

🔒 Campus Security You Can Trust

All Williamson County schools follow strict security protocols:

• Secure, double-entry vestibules

• Required ID check for all visitors

• Armed school resource oJicers (SROs) at each campus

• Monitored, locked internal access points

Parents can feel confident knowing these schools are designated “hard targets,” meaning

they’re built and staJed to deter threats and ensure student safety.

🔁 Can You Request Another School?

Yes! Williamson County allows intra-district transfers if space is available. Each

February, families can apply to zone into a diJerent school via the WCS zoning portal. If

applications exceed availability, a lottery system is used for selection.
